Terra Academia, a school and accelerator of ecological transformation, opens its Paris campus at Wellio Paris Montmartre

Terra Academia has chosen to open its Paris campus in the heart of the 18th arrondissement of Paris, at 114 rue Marcadet, in a typical 1930s building acquired by Covivio in 2006 and extensively renovated in 2018. Since November 2018, the 5,900 m² property has housed the Wellio Paris Montmartre space across two floors, with the rest of the surface being occupied by Orange. Terra Academia will occupy 66 workstations under a service agreement.

In addition to its workspaces, the Paris Montmartre site offers a wide range of services, including eight meeting rooms, an event space accommodating up to 99 people, a 70-seat amphitheatre, co-working stations, a social area with a barista, a catering offer and a concierge service.

Terra Academia is a school and accelerator of the skills and professions required for ecological transformation. Its purpose is to study changing needs in terms of skills and professions, both locally and nationally. And to create, develop and boost the appeal of training courses devoted to ecological transformation. Founded under the impetus of the Veolia group, world leader in ecological transformation, it brings together a committed coalition of economic, academic, public and non-profit players. It is aimed at young people, working professionals and those undergoing retraining, as well as managers and elected representatives.

Wellio now has ten sites, including eight in France (Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille and Lyon) and two in Italy, in Milan. A tenth site opened its doors last April in Paris Saint-Lazare at L’Atelier, Covivio’s European headquarters. The occupancy rates of these spaces (up 90% in France and 100% in Italy) are testament to the success and relevance of this offering, which is based on the complementary nature of Covivio’s office and hotel expertise (location, connectivity, comfort, customer experience, premium services, etc.) and its compatibility with new working methods (flexibility, plurality, design and community).
