Following the success of Wellio Dante, the second Milanese site of the Wellio pro- working network will open its doors in 2022 a few steps from the Duomo

The second Wellio site in Milan, the ninth in Europe of Covivio’s pro-working network, will open in April 2022 in a historic building owned by the Group, located a few steps from the Duomo.

The opening of Wellio Duomo follows the excellent results achieved by the first Wellio site opened in Via Dante in August 2020, which today hosts clients of primary standing such as, among the others, Lavazza, Panta Ray, Fifty Finance and Wellington Management.

Currently under redevelopment with an architectural project designed by Onsitestudio, the building that will host Wellio Duomo covers a surface of approximately 5,000 m². Wellio Duomo will offer 500 customizable workstations with different atmospheres on each floor and high flexibility in terms of size and layout, ranging from private offices to complete open-plan offices. Occupants will be able to take advantage of meeting rooms, common areas, a bar area with terrace on the third floor, as well as 800 m² of outdoor lounge space, including a 500 m² rooftop overlooking the Duomo and the brick roofs of Milan’s historic centre. The building is targeting Leed Gold, Well Gold and Wiredscore certifications.

Like the Wellio network, this new site will offer a unique style inspired by the architectural surroundings of the city center, highlighting copper, brick and Silipol, the emblematic material that covers the walls of the Milan metro. The interior design project, signed by DWA Design Studio, echoes the historical monuments of the Milan center that can be admired from every point of view of Wellio Duomo: the rooftop and the terraces, the large openings of the central staircase, and every window of the building.

Wellio Duomo will open in the wake of the great success of the Via Dante site, which demonstrates how the concept fully responds to the current needs of our customers: flexibility first, but also services, technology and community. Wellio offers the possibility of working in a safe and comfortable environment, with all the spaces, the equipment and the technology necessary to do so efficiently and encouraging valuable networking opportunities among professionals.

The premium services offered to the clients of Wellio Duomo will be guaranteed by the same partners of excellence with which Wellio already collaborates at the via Dante site: Foorban, the first food-tech platform in Italy dedicated to the business lunch-break and that has the mission to make healthy eating easy; TopLife Concierge, leading company in Italy for reception and concierge services applying criteria of Hotel excellence; Sofia Locks, PropTech company providing cloud-native access control solutions that support space flexibility and people collaboration.

Designed by international architecture and interior design studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), Building D consists of two volumes covering a total of more than 18,000 m² and redefines the concept of the workplace by integrating new functions and diversifying the way future clients use the space. The offices have been designed as flexible spaces that allow easy access to digital solutions and technology and include teamwork areas and common areas to enhance employees’ creativity and productivity. Building D also houses a restaurant and a versatile auditorium of about 600 m². It will also be certified LEED Core & Shell score Platinum and aim to achieve WELL Core minimum score Bronze certification. It will also be one of the first buildings to obtain the WELL Health Safety rating, which guarantees occupants with the highest health and safety measures.
