Join us in the agora on the1st level of the Palais des Congrès for 2 conferences on the theme of decarbonisation:

How can the hotel industry become responsible?

Tuesday 10 December from 3pm to 3.30pm

Reducing carbon emissions per room by 66% by 2030, and by 90% by 2050 to meet the targets set out in the Paris Climate Agreement: this is a major challenge for the hotel sector. And this at a time when establishments need to maintain their quality standards and satisfy customer expectations.

How can the hotel industry become responsible in this context? What practices are already being implemented, and will be in the future, in France and more widely across Europe? What impact will this have on investors, operators and, of course, customers?

Sophie Gautier, Director of Hotel Asset Management and Jean-Baptiste Raphanaud, expert and advisor to Covivio on the challenges of decarbonising hotel assets.

When ‘building operation’ rhymes with ‘low carbon’. Case study of Silex1, an office building with BBCA Exploitation certification.

Wednesday 11 December from 12pm to 12.30 pm

Silex1 (Lyon) is one of two office buildings owned and managed by Covivio to be among the first to be awarded the BBCA Exploitation label. This accolade recognises the good low-carbon practices implemented in these buildings, and is fully in line with the Group’s sustainable development strategy.

How do you achieve this? What were the strengths of Silex1? How does Silex1 fit into Covivio’s overall strategy?

Jean-Éric Fournier, Director of Sustainable Development; Pascal Reungoat, Director of Property Engineering and Caroline Allingri, Director of Environment, Regulations and Energy.
