In Japanese, IRO is an invitation to openness. More than just a word, it’s a state of mind. IRO is also the interpretation of a new office environment, in a city where it’s as good to live as it is to work.
Japandi design: between Japanese aesthetics and Scandinavian comfort
With a surface area of 25,600 m² spread over 5 levels and designed by the architects Ateliers 2/3/4, the IRO building is much more than just a workplace. Every architectural detail has been designed to create a welcoming atmosphere, where the subtle balance between clean lines and enveloping design creates a visual and functional experience.
Walking through IRO is like strolling through a private mansion, an elegant fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian design influences. The building embodies the Japandi aesthetic, creating a harmonious atmosphere where simplicity and functionality combine to offer unique workspaces. Natural materials such as wood, bamboo, stone and ceramics are skilfully integrated to create a warm, organic atmosphere.
For sustainable and flexible office furniture
In partnership with NORNORM, Covivio is offering a subscription service for sustainable and flexible office furnishings on IRO in particular. The aim: whether a company is expanding, moving or changing the configuration of its space, the Covivio x NORNORM Furnished Office offer enables it to adjust its furniture quickly and easily to meet changing needs. After use, all the furniture is refurbished and put back into circulation: a virtuous circle with limited environmental impact.
Nature at every moment of the day
IRO’s outdoor spaces, totalling 3,360 m² of terraces and gardens, including 1,400 m² dedicated to Japanese gardens, offer a refreshing escape. These spaces invite discovery, contemplation and a change of pace, allowing nature to infiltrate everywhere.
Within this inspiring environment, occupants can stroll along the Coulée Verte, wander along the patios, stroll in the Japanese garden, observe the city from the terraces, or meet up for afterworks on the rooftop.
A hotel experience
IRO places great emphasis on the human experience, offering a full range of services: concierge, work café, restaurant, business centre with 4 meeting rooms, wellness area.

Supporting artistic creation
As a signatory of the “1 building, 1 piece of art” Charter, Covivio supports artistic creation to make it accessible to as many people as possible. With this in mind, Vincent Breed, a glass artist, has come to decorate the main hall of the building. Inspired by the softness offered by IRO, the Team Building sculpture is based around a play of transparencies, made up of glass bubbles blown with a cane, allowing natural light to penetrate.
