In 2018, Covivio decided to pursue its European development and set up operations in the United Kingdom, a buoyant market in terms of hotel real estate investment and a popular European tourist destination. Via its subsidiary Covivio Hotels, Covivio entered into a partnership with IHG, one of the world’s leading hotel operators, and acquired an exceptional portfolio of 12 four- and five-star hotels located in the centre of Britain’s largest cities. Given their location and architecture, these hotels are truly emblematic.

The 12 hotels acquired by Covivio have been renovated over the last five years in order to offer customers a range of high-end services.
This partnership also enables IHG to develop its high-end and innovative luxury brands in Europe: Voco and Kimpton.
